Wow...I almost burned down the entire company and a building on 5th ave.....

Let me explain..

I plugged a space heater into a power strip at work and turned it on. A minute later my computer shuts off and i realize everything on my desk has also shut off. I go investigate under my desk and trace the problem to the power strip that is attached to the wall. i try to unplug it and it starts to spark....So i get gloves and pull it out while it sparks a bit...I eventually get it out and look at the strip and see that it has melted. Damn.

Also in the news, I will probably drop my Policy/Program Analysis class since I know FUCK about whats going on in the class. I went up to the teacher to talk about it and he said he will make an appointment with him to talk about my options. I said I did not take Statistics yet and it seems as if it should be a perquisite for the course. He agreed that it should have been but we will talk it over sometime this week I guess

Lastly, I just downloaded the new Panic At The Disco album and i have to say.....SHIT! I loved the first one and was really looking forward to this one. The whole album sounds like some tree hugging shit from the 60's...wow I am just so disapointed with them right now. The good news is that I DLed some Justice - D.A.N.C.E. remixes so that makes me very happy LOL.

C'est la vie

Kryssy just called and let me know that my grandmother has just passed away. I am not an emotional nor spritual person and really dont have any emotions towards this. I mean she has been sick for quite a while now. 2 days ago she made a real bad turn for the worse. The other day they read her the Last Rights. Today I saw her and said goodbye. I am very glad I was able to say goodbye to her. It meant alot to my dad that Rich and I went there. I am also glad because it has been hard on her and all of my family for her to be slowly reaching this point. She had morphine and something else these past two days so she didnt suffer much if at all. Now my family can also be at rest, not having to worry about her like they have and not have to see her deteriorate.

Goodbye Grandma, we all love you and are happy you are at peace. You where so loving, accepting, and always had the best meals. Your artistic and musical talents can be seen in us all. I will always remember going to your apartment every Sunday for dinner. Hope I made you proud and know that I have and always will love you.

Ok so it is 12:46am Monday morning. After work "today" I will be on a plane going to Las Vegas for work. I am really excited. Work has really been stressing me out and even though I will be working I think it will be a nice change of pace and will be relaxing and different. All i have to worry about is getting the web site done in time. I have Bob picking me up at 7:45am so i am going to have to go to sleep soon. I am done packing mostly and will just need to finish a few things tomorrow morning. I had a really great weekend and I hope this week isnt too stressful that it takes me off of my good mood i have been on.

Just a quick thought that I had last night..

I really gotta say that one of my favorite things to do sometimes is to enjoy a nice quiet day at home. I know that it seems silly to have Danny come over when we both do nothing, he plays videogames and i surf the web and watch him, but its those moments that I really enjoy, and i wouldn't give those up for the world.

Quick question. Does anyone have a NON-OEM (ie. Dell) copy of XP or Vista that i could borrow. If it is OEM is it at least Windows XP SP2? I have a copy of Windows but its a Dell disk and i cant use it on the Macbook Pro I plan on getting,

So this weekend was really fun. Would have been a little better had I been able to see my psudo-bf but whatever:-P Anyway, friday I got out of work at 6:30 cuz Danny was uber late to pick me up. We then went uptown to 68th and 3rd to pick up Craig and his weird classmate that he is friends with just to shack up with on of her friends. We then headed downtown to pick up Mel. We got to her about 7:30 and then headed towards Benny Burrito. Got to Benny Burito and had chicken fingers :-P We left and then walked over to Diner on 9th and 14th. Raphielle was there and we had a few drinks. Mel poured over Simone's new Blackberry. We left Craig in the area to out and party and went home.

Saturday was a hoot. Mel had dinner with her mom but then came out to watch Phil, Danny, and I eat dinner at Dee's Pizza. After that we went to Forest Hills looking to see if we could see a movie. Some of us wanted to see Mist and others wanted to see some other movie so we ended up renting National Treasure on DVD and watching it at my house. In the middle of the movie, Melissa got up and went to go to the bathroom upstairs. She finished and on her way down the stairs, she fell and sprained both of her legs. I felt so bad, I mean one leg is bad enough but both legs, thats horrible. My heart goes out to you melissa. After we got her off the floor and onto the couch we finished the movie and started to leave. Getting Mel down the stairs was such an ordeal. She could hardly stand on them and it was very painful for her to walk down the stairs.

Sunday was a day of doing nothing and relaxing. Well I did do something. I went and got my christmas tree. Right now it is in the backyard waiting to be brought in. After we did that I went to Stop and Shop and picked up 5 peices of tuna sushi and had that for a late lunch. Then Danny came over and played a bunch of games while I sat and typed out most of my report. My mom made us some Pasta to have for dinner so we had that and then went back upostairs to do more of the same until Danny had to go home. It was a relaxing day and I needed to do my report so it was good to stay at home.
